Trinidad, Colorado [July 2025]. Through August and September 2025, artist Mary Reid will have her work featured in Women’s Work at the Mitchell Museum of Western Art. This groundbreaking exhibition celebrates the authentic contributions of women in the American West, pairing artists with women on working ranches to highlight their multifaceted roles in shaping Western life. Women’s Work also provides an important platform for Indigenous women to share their stories, rooted in culture and heritage, through both traditional and fine art. Reid’s inclusion in this exhibition underscores her ability to capture timeless narratives and honor the strength, talent, and resilience of women whose stories continue to define the West.
